Photographer's Guidelines: North Dakota Horizons magazine

Summary: North Dakota Horizons is North Dakota's state magazine, with a circulation in all 50 states and several foreign countries. The mission of North Dakota Ilorizons is to showcase North Dakota's resources and people, and to keep present and fonner North Dakota residents connected with news about the state. Photographers wishing to be added to a list for fixture assignments to go with the articles should send an email to the editor, outlining their qualifications and areas of specialty. Photographers interested in having their work considered for the calendar should contact the editor for separate submission guidelines. Payment for articles and photography will be negotiated upon acceptance of the materials for publication. The payment for articles averages 20 cents a word, and payment for photography for major layouts ranges from $125 to $300. Photo rates are usually based on a one-time use.
