I am really interested in learning about photography. Any tips like what type of camera to get that is not too expensive.

I'm thinking about going to college for Photography as my major. Is it worth it, or maybe I'll be better off taking some classes and learning on my own?

I have had photography classes, and I have done photography assignments in the past, nothing big. This is going to be about an hour or so of photography for a renewal of vows/wedding ceremony. How much should I charge?

O.K, so I'm only 15, but I like photography and would like to peruse it as a career someday. I have a decent digital camera, It's a 5mp camera with a 4x optical zoom and a pretty decent lens. It's just a point a shoot, but I didn't have $700 to spend on an slr. I've read a book that taught me about aperture and iso and stuff. Anyway, can photography be a potential career? What could I do, if it made decent money I would like shooting weddings and events and stuff (I like candid photography best) but am willing to explore other options. Know, since I'm only 15 I know I wont be making any money for awhile but what can I do now to prepare for later? I mean like practising my photography. Oh yeah, I am decent at editing my photos and have Paint Shop Pro. So, yeah, what can I do know and what should I do later? P.S You don't have to tell me that your not going to be able to do photography full time starting out, I know that photography would have to be a side job.

I am interested in attending photography seminars for wedding photography, portrait photography, etc, and am wondering if anyone knows of a website or somewhere I could find out when and where they are held. I live near the Milwaukee area. Thanks!!!

I work at a portrait studio now and have been in photography for the last 8 years, part of me wants to go to school and learn enough about photography and how to run a small business. The other part is worried that photography is a dying business with so many people doing their own photography with digital cameras & photoshop. Is it worth all that school ,money & time?

I want to get more involved with my photography. I really like black and white photography but I also really like color photography. I want a digital camera. One that would work well with adobe photoshop elements 6 (that's all I have right now). Any suggestions and links would be helpful. Im looking to find a photography job. Photography is my passion and I am quite good at it. How can I make money from my photography? Any jobs going? And can i email my photos to people for money rather than seeing them in person. Is ebay good to make money from photos?

I'm not new, but not exactly very good with photography. To a point I can do it. I've been taking photos of clothing I make outside for the summer, and have been quite pleased with the turnout. However, winter is just around he corner and I need to take photos inside. I'm looking for lighting tips for indoor photography. I take indoor fashion shots and need something that gives me decent light. Not regular lighting that makes everything look yellow/orange. Also, There are not many windows here so light from outside is limited. Any help would be GREALY appreciated. Thanks.

I would like to start a small photography business...nothing major as I am an amateur photographer and am not sure of myself/skills yet. I do think that I take pretty decent photos and have a great passion for photography but don't really know how to begin. What kind of fairly inexpensive camera is a good start? I do have a Sony Digital Camera and a Canon SLR 35mm. Also, what other kind of equipment is imperative when beginning-just to look like you know what your doing? Any help would be greatly appreciated! One more thing before I forget, what is needed to take great photos of food/wine? Is there a special kind of setup that I would need?

Okay, so i'm only in high school, but i'm trying to figure out what i want to do with my life. Photography has always been something i love, but i'm just now getting into it. So my question is, what's the best camera to start out with if you are really interested in Photography?

I like taking pictures but I really want to learn photography. Should I take courses for it? What courses should I take just to learn basic stuff for photography?

I am purchasing a digital camera soon, one that is of the cheaper point & shoot variety with maybe some extra features that let me adjust photos more to my liking. I also have an SLR camera (not digital) that I found in my house that I'd like to start using as well. What's a good book that covers the basics of photography (applicable to digital and non digital) and also maybe gives advice on the artistry of photography?

I have to identify what type of science is photography for my little project for school. My project consists of experimenting with the angles, shadows, and position of my camera to receive different shadows, effects, etc. Help PLease! Is it just photography itself or something totally different?

I have been told that Adobe Photo shop is the way to go but I really would like some input before I drop all that cash. I am looking into Portrait and nature photography. I would like to use one program only and I want to be able to do all sorts of things, for instance, adding hints of color to B&W images, changing filters etc... Any input would be helpful. I need to do a presentation with three demonstrations of physics and the theme is going to be photography. It doesn't have to be completely photography related but something that will demonstrate the optics that is in photography. I was thinking about making a few camera obscuras as one demo but i need two more. Please help!

hi! I'm only 16 but photography is so intresting to me! I've heard of people starting photogrpahy at a young age, but I'm not quite sure how. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'll be going to college next year and I'm planning on taking some photography classes there, but what can I do now to get a head start? Is there any suggested things to begin photographing?
