I am wanting to get into pet photography and am looking for sugestions for advretising, how do I get my name out there?

Do you think that a pet photographer would have any business at all, because i really like photography , and i really like to photograph my cat and other animals . I have to choose a career pathway at my high school , and i want to go into the photography section . I haven't decided yet if I want to become a professional yet or not, but I would like to know what the best digi camera is for pet photography for beginners and intermediates.

I would like to start my own pet photography business but I'm a little worried that I can't capture good photos of the pets! What can I do to become better at pet photography? Do I need squeaky toys, or treats? Are there any pet photographer that can give me advice? I would also like to see what other photographer have to offer. Can I see your pet photos? I'm a 13 year old girl, and i'm a HUGE animal lover. Day and night I think about animals <3 I want to open a small pet photography studio in my basement, with small backdrops and such. I want a digital camera, good for taking sharp, HD pictures of pets, wildlife and sports, but good for other photos, like portraits, as well. I'd prefer for it to be under $500, can be used. I'd like a specific camera, but just specs for what I need would be great too. I'd like it to have really good focus, and a very fast shutter speed. I'm new to photography so I don't know what I'd need. Thanks!

I am hoping to change careers and become a pet photographer but I don't know how much to charge or if I can make a living from it. Any ideas?

Also, will I need any type of insurance? I'll be going from location to location & and setting up at pet stores, groomers and dog sitting locations. Very similar to the photos for kids you would get at at department stores.

I went to the careers section on their website, and they did not have a job section for photography...is that because photography businesses are contradicted through petco and it's not actually a job there?

I want to take great pictures of my pets i have a cat and a dog i try to take good one but they don't always come out the way i want it to is there a way i can get my dog to tilt his head.Also i have a Canon Powershot sx10 is there any thing that i can set it on like the ISO to take better pictures please let me know

I have most of my equipment but I have a few things I am not sure about. My studio will be about 100sq ft. What color should the walls be? Dark to absorb light or light to reflect? Also, I do not know what kind of lighting to get, with my space being so small do I need a whole light kit? Or just one light, and what kind of light and where online can I find one. I will be working with a digital camera. Any help would be extremely useful thank you.

I don't plan on having a studio. Will do portraits and action shots though - mainly dogs. Taglines would be great too! :)
