I need to take 30 pictures of long depth of field landscape photos for a photography class! I recently moved to l.a and have no idea where to go to take nice landscape pictures.Please give me some ideas. Yes I mean los angeles..and I live between long beach and downtown l.a..

Photography class is confusing sometimes when there not so descriptive on what they want. & other help for photography can you help me find a photographer who takes pictures that gives objects human characteristics? or maybe something you see off of the site itsirrational.com under there photography thing?

What do you do if the sun is in the picture you want, but if you increase the shutter speed, (because of the high amount of light) the foreground appears to dark! If i decrease the shutter speed to make the foreground brighter, the sun is to bright and makes the whole sky (including the clouds, which in allot of cases are very important in a picture) a big white blob! HELP!

I am interested in getting into some landscape photography. However I know nothing about it, cameras, or photography in general. So I need some help finding a camera that will let me get into this. I am trying to avoid breaking 250 dollars, so that would be my upper limit, and I would really like to be able to switch out the lenses also if that is possible. I have never had anything better than a 100$ digi cam to take photos with. But photography has always been a dream of mine. I want a camera in the 300 - 1000$ range that would be good to take pictures of...well everything but mainly landscape. The problem is that I dont know which type of model to get. Should I get a dSLR? How good are superzoom cameras? Please help! Now that I finally have money for a cam, i cant wait to get one.

I need a prime lens for landscape photography, and i dont know whether i need a really low f-stop (f1.8 or f2), or if i can get away with a higher f-stop number (f3.5 or f4). Or on the other hand, should I just get a zoom lens ? but i heard they decrease quality and the f-stop number can be higher. thanks :)

I have never used one of those before so I was wondering how many stops would be good for a graduated neutral density filter I should get if I plan to take some landscape with sky?

hello. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much I should charge for landscape photography? I have only done portraits so far & have been asked to do some landscape & I'm not sure what to charge. The job includes going to few different locations taking pictures of fences and pavillions and such that this person has made for their business. They want some evening shots and some shots at night that will show off the different lighting packages they have for yards. If anyone could help me with my pricing that would be lovely thank you :)

I got a Nikon d3100 for Christmas and it came with the standard 18-55mm kit lens. This is a good multi-purpose lens, but I'm more of a landscape photographer. What is a good telephoto lens for this style of photography? I'm on a tight budget here so I can't break the bank!

I enjoy taking landscape photography but whenever I shoot, my photos don't come out very sharp. The landscape isn't blurry as much as it is soft. Is there something I can do with my camera settings to fix this? I tried using a smaller aperture and it still yielded the same results. Is there any tips anyone has to help fix this problem? I have a Nikon D3100 with a polarizing filter and a UV filter. I usually use my 18-55mm VR lens for landscape. thanks!
