I would like to get into digital photography in a serious way. I've got my SLDR camera + accessories and am studying my exposures and focal lengths. I've heard of amateur photographers getting noticed, even selling their work. How does one get started? Should I start some website and post my photos? What's the best way to get noticed? And how do you actually go about selling them? ........... of course, I meant DSLR camera. Thanks for the answers sofar. Any budding digital photographers here have a blog site with their photos and details of how they took the picture? so i love taking pictures and I love using Adobe Photoshop and making those pictures look cool and doing different effects to them. So Im in an Advanced Digital Photography class and It turns out to be an independant study class... if anyone knows of any good websites with photoshop tutorials let me know (the only one i know is good-tutorials.com) or if u know a good tutorial give me the instructions on it. I want good, advanced tutorials. Not things like pencil scetch, cartoon effect, or easy stuff like that... THANKS!!!

My Grandparents are coming up this summer and we plan on going to the Olympic national park (where we go every time they come up) I want to impress them with my photography skills. How can I take really good photos? I have a Kodak Easy Share C433. I have had it for a year and 4 months. I enjoy taking pictures where ever I go on trips. Its a great camera. Actually its the 1st digital camera I looked at when I went to Walmart. I got it on sale for 109.99 Its regually 150.00 dollar camera.

I have got a new digital SLR. I'm looking for something like "digital photography for dummy" but not too dummy (I've taken lots of pictures with consumer digital camera for a few years). I'm especially interested in learning taking better pictures with kids and babies.
