what is the best lens (canon) for architectural and interior photography?

Thx. I would like to take crisp clear photographs - mostly office interiors. Thx Gary, Canon Tilt/Shift TS-E are great but I'm not quite up to that level yet - and yes, they're expensive! It may not even match the camera I have (EOS 450D) ~ lol! Any other lens you can recommend?

Answer 1

Probably the 16-35mm f2.8 L. http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/ef_lens_lineup/ef_16_35mm_f_2_8l_ii_usm

Answer 2

In addition to the above, the EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM is probably pretty good, too.

Answer 3

Canon Tilt/Shift TS-E 17mm f/4L and the Canon Tilt/Shift TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II . About $2200 per copy, they are THE best. They are particularly suited to architectural photography. Jammin, Then take a look at the Sigma 8-16mm. You will need to use some lens correction software for it (barrel distortion etc). And you can correct for converging verticals in Photoshop.
