Hi
I am an event and band photographer at night but stuck in a dead end day job, I really want to travel and work along the way, does anyone have any useful tips on how i can combine the two and make money from my photography?

There are two things you can do right away. Go to the library and look at past issues of travel and travel photography magazines and see what kind of work and vacation destinations are published. You will notice that a large percentage of the images come from the writers, so you may want to brush up on your writing skills. You will also want to look at the latest "Photographers Market ". Have you ever looked into selling stock photography? If you take a well-composed good exposure of very mundane things or places, you would be surprised at how much people are willing to pay for it. Just be aware of copyright or privacy issues, or taking pictures of people (they will need to sign a release).
