To be honest, the only area to really make any money in photography in Ireland is in wedding photography. We have a very young population and that means lots of weddings. Most photographers tend to charge from about 1300 euros and upwards. There would be a small market for portraits and graduation ceremony photography too. As the economy has gone a bit wobbly recently, I would say weddings are the safest bet but that is not to say there is not money to be made elsewhere. Now is also a good time to buy property in Ireland as due to the weakening economy, house prices are falling rapidly. Be aware thought that if you decided to sell up in a year, you would have difficulty selling so I would recommend remting at first if you plan to move here. Good luck.
