Answer 1

Before you start applying to a modeling agency, you will want to get some experience. To do that, look on networking sites like Model Mayhem and One Model place for local photographers who shoot time for print (TFP) sessions. Spend about a year or so shooting with from six to ten different photographers so you have a lot of experience working with different personalities and can take direction well and while doing that, build your book so you have at least 12 to 18 amazing shots which show your different "looks" Then start attending "Open Calls" hosted by advertising and modeling agencies in your area. Attend them ready to fill out an application, be interviewed by one of their reps and pose for a few reference shots.
