There is no correct or best answer to your question. Nowadays there are hundreds (if not thousands) of stock sites, from cheap and nasty micro to specialist libraries such as Travel Ink or the Defence Picture Library Ltd. They all pay different rates depending on any number of factors. There are as many pricing options/models as there is library. You always keep copyright but can sell as rights managed or royalty free. I would suggest that you do some proper research before even thinking about this. Start by a simple google search on "stock photography", "selling photographs" or any similar phrases.
