I'm getting my friend a subscription to a magazine for his birthday... he likes photography and is interested in traveling. I looked at the National Geographic Traveler, but I feel like it's a lot of articles and not as much about destinations... maybe? He already gets photography magazines, so I don't want something that is strictly photography. Ideas?

Hi,you could try the Lonely Planet guides.They are excellent for travel...they tell you everything you want to know about lots of different countries/cities in the world.You could try to find out his favorite destination and buy one of those.They are sold in newsagents and book stores.Good luck.Hope this helps.
