Please answer. I really wanna find a camera for nature photography. One that does well outside. Taking pictures of flowers and such. And perhaps one that does well outside at nighttime as well. an SLR with a macro lens.

Well. It's more of the lens that matter. This one guy once said to me: "you can buy the best camera in the world, and put crap on the end of it.. and what are you gonna get? CRAP" Buy macro lens for flowers and such. Buy telephoto for birds and such. And with the leftover money, buy a DSLR camera. ;) I personally use a Canon Rebel XS and I love it, as I'm not one to spend a lot of money on a camera. I got it 2 or 3 years ago *blushes*. You get what you pay for with Canon though! You may be thinking, "nonono. I don't want to spend that much!" But trust me.. It's worth it!!

Start with a compact camera with at-least 10x optical zoom. Check out Nikon coolpix L110 and also canon powershot series.

For your purposes, probably an SLR with mirror lock-up capability. Shoot on Fuji Velvia film for great colors. It's what many pros still shoot for nature magazine work. And film is far better at night as there are no noise issues.

I've heard large format film cameras give nice results (I've never used one). Forget about "the best" (it's all relative). Get an entry level SLR camera and a good lens. And a good book on general photography.

There are so many great ones. I have a Canon Rebel XSi with a telephoto lens an it does great! But I would recommend a macro lens and a high megapixeled camera. I don't know how much you are willing to spend but the Canon 5D Mark II is seriously one of the best. It's incredible!!!!!!!!!!
