take two cameras yeh were all tired of yahoo rudeness GOD Answer 2
Always check your equipment. Use back ups. Use telephotos more often. Take human interest photos and behind the scene shots and not just the regular standard shots. Pictures of her looking at him or the other way around makes a powerful wedding shot. Tap on emotions. Answer 3
It is a tough job. Bring back up gear and extra everything.
If you are going to do the group shots, hard work, get someone to be your "sheep dog" to herd the right people at the right time for the group shots. Make sure to space the people so no one is hodden.
Bring a photo assistant to do leg work. Get formal shots, group shots and candid shots. Make a shot list, keep it in your pocket. Practice with your gear.
Have a meeting with the couple ahead of time to make sure you know their expectations. Answer 4
1. be creative
2. prepare all the things you needed
3. take note of shots you wanted (couple with relatives, with friends, etc.)
4. visit the location before the day of wedding to practice the sunlight. Answer 5
Are you the actual photographer? If so, here are some thoughts:
1) Go through all of your equipment at least a few days prior to the event and make sure that everything works. I wouldn't do this the night before - what if you find out you need to replace something and the wedding's less than 12 hours away?
2) Visit all of the relevant locations and get a feel for the lighting, arrangements, etc. Might be worth it to start thinking about possible places for group shots, bride/groom shots, etc.
3) Hire some help if need be (e.g. assistants), and make sure that everyone is clear about the schedule at least a few days in advance so that there is no confusion!
