What are the best DIGITAL cameras you can recommend for professional fashion and commercial photography?

Also....that can do pretty much everything? Not only "fashion and commercial" but preferably that would be its top purpose. THanks! around $4,000 range?

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/571017-REG/Hasselblad_70380532_H3DII_50_SLR_Digital_Camera.html The hasselblad H3DII-50 - a steal for only $27,000. Frequently used for fashion and commercial work, and pretty much anything else you'd want to do. I figured since you didn't really specify what best means to you, I'd just go for the gusto.

5d mark 2

For your budget there are two cameras that will fit the bill. Canon 5D MKII and Nikon D700. Both are under $3,000 for the body. You will of course need to spend even more money than that on lenses. Some lenses to get you going would be 24-70 F2.8 $1,500 give or take 70-200 F2.8 $1,700-$1,900 50mm F1.4 $400 85mm F1.4 $400 100mm macro lens $500-$900 Your choice in lenses would depend on your subjects and your budget of course. If you can't afford top of the line lenses then buy a lesser camera. A Canon 50D or Nikon D90 or D300 would be good choices. Having a top level camera with crappy lenses is not worth it. It is better to have excellent lenses and a lower level camera.

I agree with all the answers above the hasselblad H3DII-50 is a medium format digital camera which is just out of this world in image quality. But you'd need to have a small fortune to own one. The Canon 5d mark 11 is going to be a classic. Fantastic camera. I think it shoots at over 20 million pixels and has a full framed censor as well as being able to shoot full HD video which is outstanding. Not cheap but comparatively to the hasselblad H3DII-50 you could probably buy ten! If money is no object the hasselblad H3DII-50. The cannon is just fantastic though.

Hey Anna, I'll recommend a few: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26high-price%3D4000%26x%3D9%26redirect%3Dtrue%26keywords%3Ddigital%2520camera%26low-price%3D3000%26y%3D7%26rh%3Dn%253A172282%252Cn%253A%2521493964%252Ck%253Adigital%2520camera&tag=clogui-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957 If you can get #2 (that's what I use) it's probably one of the most amazing cameras I've ever used. I mainly use it to photograph outdoors & live action with natural light (I'm a surf photography for the WCT), but I'm sure it would work even better for your fashion / commercial photography. Otherwise, there are some great canons in that link, and you can't go wrong with canon.
