I have a mini digital camera that is really nice and it takes photographs well. I am not photogenic, but recently, I have begun taking pictures of myself that are beautiful. I’d like to learn how to take glamour photographs and learn how to use lighting correctly. What do I do?

What are the basic ingredients of glamor photography?

6 - Practice some more
7 - Have willing friends come over and add their bodies and 2¢ worth

You have to remember there IS no right or wrong way. There are only good pics and bad pics. The good pics talk to you, the photographer, on how good they really are. Remember, photography is a VERY subjective art. It is not the eye of the viewer who is the critic (altho they sure can try to be) but it is the EYE and mind if the artist, the photographer in this case, who is creating something from nothing, who is the real critic here.
If YOU like it, the rest can go to Timbuktu.. for it is YOU, the artist, the photographer who is the real critic here. It's YOUR work...!
Your shooting DIGITAL.. If you don't like it, what IS it you don't like, fix it and shoot again, and again and yet again... till you get what you want. All you have waisted is a lil battery power and some time. Delete the uglies and move on..
Practice. Practice and practice some more. Push the envelope and discover who is inside and behind the camera..
