All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

It's all about the light. This is a great tutorial: http://www.tabletopstudio.com/documents/jewelry_photography.htm

Answer 2

I would get a nice black velvet cloth as a backdrop for the jewelry. It isn't going to stand out as much against a white display as a darker display. And a macro lens, when you can get one, would be a good investment.

Answer 3

i think that not too much light would be the answer otherwise all you will get is refeections of the light on the silver and no detail
