How much to charge for landscape photography?

hello. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much I should charge for landscape photography? I have only done portraits so far & have been asked to do some landscape & I'm not sure what to charge. The job includes going to few different locations taking pictures of fences and pavillions and such that this person has made for their business. They want some evening shots and some shots at night that will show off the different lighting packages they have for yards. If anyone could help me with my pricing that would be lovely thank you :)

Answer 1

What is your normal day rate?? Charge that plus licensing fee. If you don't have that sorted out then you should not be in business.

Answer 2

Actually, that wouldn't be landscape photography, it's simply a freelance photography assignment. Charge you're normal hourly rate. Be sure to include any time you will spend on processing the images in Photoshop after the shoot. In the contract, have a detailed description of what you will do (how many images of the fencing and lighting at what locations) and the total fee. Then if your client wants you to do more, you can charge for those extra services. And be sure to include the rights the client will receive. Have Fun, Jeff
