Answer 1

In a nutshell: Learn about photography and be patient. For the settings, it is super important to read your manual several times and practice in between. You have a very nice camera, make sure you learn to make the most of it. As to your dog: once you figured out your camera, the rest is patience. Sit the camera on a tripod and use a remote control or remote shutter release, or at the very least the self timer. Once your dog is in position, the most likely way to make him tilt his head is with a noise he isn't familiar with, something that puzzles him. You'll have to have everything set up and very carefully time the shot, since you'll only get that puzzled head tilt once or twice before you'll have to think of something new.
