Does anyone know good resources for portrait photography?

I need to know a few good resources for how-to seat and pose a subject for portrait photography. I haven't taken a portrait in years and I can't quite remember those details. Can anyone help?

All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

Go to your local library and get books by Bill Hurter in his Posing and Portraiture series. They are very good.

Answer 2

http://super.nova.org/DPR/ is a good place to start.

Answer 3

For classic portraiture, Google Zeltsman. His site is dated, but classic posing and lighting are the same now as 40 years ago.

Answer 4

Any and all books by the late Monte Zucker. He was a Master Portrait Photographer.
