I have to shoot an event for a commercial photo class I am taking, using either bounced light or fill flash. I am completely stuck for ideas, everything I can think of I can't get close enough to do those things. My teacher said we could stage an event if we needed to, but I still can't think of anything that would work. Anyone here have any ideas?
The ideas the teacher gave us were something like a wedding, a reception, a fashion show, etc.
I don't have access to any of these! I'm completely at a loss!

As long as your shot uses bounced lighting (flash --- I used this technique shooting an editorial assignment last night and used both the ceiling and wall) or shoot outdoors using flash fill where your subject is in the shade you will be cool
Just grab one of your fellow students to model for you. Answer 3
maybe you could have you friends go to a sports area, basketball court or something and set up there and have them play a game. or you can look at local events and find one that interests you like a fund raiser or festival and take pictures of things that are going on. << GO BACK to questions
