I want to get more involved with my photography. I really like black and white photography but I also really like color photography. I want a digital camera. One that would work well with adobe photoshop elements 6 (that's all I have right now). Any suggestions and links would be helpful. Also, I would want a camera where I could actually go to the store and buy it. I don't want to buy it over the internet. Thanks!

You can find a good Nikon or Canon 35 mm SLR for under $150 on craigslist. One of these cameras will be the tool you will need to learn and understand photography ... it and a class in photography. You did mention digital and did not mention a budget so I am going to heartily recommend the Nikon D50, Nikon D90, Nikon D700 or Canon EOS-1 Mark III ds. Photoshop will work with any camera file but please keep in mind that it is best to create the best image you can in the camera first and then polish, if need be, in post processing.
